Apila Group, in cooperation with Hub Karelia, implemented an online course on the circular economy as part of the Waste Not Want Not – ICE-CAP project funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ funding program. The project aims to promote awareness of the circular economy by combining learning resources suitable for different ages into a comprehensive family learning experience.

The course aims to examine the circular economy from the perspective of families with children. The course materials were based on the lecture materials of the online course Circular Economics Training for Parents. The themes of the online course are practical and cover, among other things, party organization, food waste, travelling and fashion.

A learning package of eight themes was prepared for the course, including learning objectives, theoretical content, and reflection tasks. The materials can be found on the ICE-CAP project website, where they are available free of charge to anyone interested in the circular economy.

You can download the materials to pick up lessons on the circular economy as a part of your family’s daily life (available only in Finnish): https://ice-cap.eu/fi/oppimisymparisto/kiertotalouskoulutus-vanhemmille/
